Terms of use
1. Acceptance#
By using this interface or the zk-pad smart contracts, you agree to these terms and to the risk disclaimer and privacy notice. If you do not agree, do not use the interface.
2. What zk-pad is#
zk-pad is a set of open smart contracts on BNB Smart Chain, together with this web interface, an indexer, a relayer and optional attestor services. With it you can launch tokens into PancakeSwap Infinity pools, trade them, and claim fees credited to beneficiary ids. The contracts run autonomously. The interface is only one way to interact with them.
3. No custody#
- Nobody behind zk-pad ever takes custody of your assets or keys. Transactions are signed in your wallet, and beneficiary signatures are made in your browser.
- Fees credited to a beneficiary are held by the FeeVault contract and can only be moved by the holder of the beneficiary's key, by a completed social bind, or by the committed fallback rules.
- Relayers only submit messages you signed. They cannot change the asset, amount or destination, or redirect funds.
- Liquidity is locked by contract. No one, including the creator or zk-pad, can withdraw it.
4. Your responsibilities#
- Keep your wallet, claim links and claim-kit files secure. Lost keys cannot be recovered, and leaked keys can be drained.
- Check every transaction, address and amount before signing, and verify tokens before buying.
- You are responsible for any taxes, reporting and legal obligations that apply to you.
- You must be legally permitted to use this kind of software where you live.
5. Prohibited use#
You agree not to use zk-pad to:
- launder money, finance terrorism, or evade sanctions, or interact with it if you are a sanctioned person;
- defraud others, including by falsely claiming that a coin benefits a person or charity that has not agreed to it;
- impersonate people or organisations, or infringe intellectual property;
- manipulate markets, or exploit bugs in a way that harms other users.
The interface and services may refuse requests that appear to break these rules, for example claims submitted from sanctioned addresses.
6. Token content#
Names, tickers, images, descriptions and links are supplied by token creators and are not reviewed or endorsed by zk-pad. A coin that names a cause or person does not mean they are involved or will receive the funds. The interface may hide content that is illegal or abusive. The contracts themselves cannot be censored.
7. Fees#
Each token charges the fee its creator chose (1%–5% per direction): 75% to the beneficiary and 25% to the protocol. PancakeSwap's own protocol fee, network gas, relayer fees and Railgun's shield fee are charged on top by third parties. Fees are taken by smart contracts automatically and are not refundable. See Fees.
8. Third parties#
zk-pad depends on systems it does not control: BNB Smart Chain, PancakeSwap Infinity, quote-token issuers, Railgun and its PPOI operators, wallets, RPC providers, OAuth platforms and attestors. Their terms apply to your use of them. zk-pad is not responsible for their availability or behaviour.
9. As is, no warranty#
The software is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, security, accuracy of displayed data (prices, balances, fee estimates) or uninterrupted availability. Smart contracts may contain bugs even after review.
10. Limitation of liability#
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the contributors, developers and operators of zk-pad are not liable for any loss of funds, profits, data or opportunity, or for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the software, the tokens launched with it, or third-party systems, even if advised of the possibility.
11. Changes#
These terms may be updated. The date at the top shows the latest revision, and continued use means you accept the current version. The deployed contracts cannot be changed by these terms. Their behaviour is defined by their code.
